Faulty or unsafe goods

Unsatisfactory services

Problems with credit

When you buy goods you have the right to expect:

  • goods as described

  • goods fit for the purpose intended

  • goods of reasonable quality and safety

When you buy a service, you can expect:

  • quality of service, bearing in mind the price paid

  • the job done at reasonable cost, in a reasonable time.

If a trader breaches the contract in any of these ways, you may be entitled to compensation.
