Honorary Treasurer
required for Guildford Citizens Advice Bureau
Guildford CAB is a member of the National Association, Citizens Advice,
and is a company limited by guarantee. Our present Treasurer retires in
the autumn 2008; we need someone to take over this important role who can
advise the Trustee Board on the Bureau’s financial affairs and be
responsible for preparing:
- bi-monthly management accounts from records maintained on a Sage
accounting system;
- annual financial statements, in conjunction with the auditors;
- an annual budget.
Including attendance at Board meetings (normally evenings), the time
commitment is estimated to be around 2 days per month.
The services of the Bureau are delivered by a full time manager and 10
other part time staff who support around 70 volunteers who act as advisers
and administrative support staff
